Yummy Organic Cotton Tug Toy:

Made of 100% dye-free certified organic cotton! We hand braid our color grown certified cotton fleece with organic cotton from another great US company, Mortex Apparel. Mortex makes super soft certified organic t-shirts and, as is always true in clothing production, fabric scraps are left over. Through a cooperative arrangement these pieces are sent to us and we add this lovely fabric to our tug toys. What could have been waste is now a great toy!   Fun, super pet friendly, and Earth friendly- that's truly Yummy!

Even our tags are now repurposed from outdated dog calendars. They are way cute and can be used again as fun bookmarks!

This is a durable tug toy but not for lone chewing. Use with supervision. Machine wash and dry. We have been testing these toys and the testing families give them rave reviews. Try one at your house! Made in the USA (Indiana).

These tugs are handmade and the thickness may vary slightly.

Hemp Rope Toy:

While searching for a durable organic dog toy we were delighted to discovered Earthdog. They make a dye-free, pesticide-free hemp rope toy. Dogs love the natural smell and texture of hemp rope. Hemp is a low impact crop. Not only is it eco-friendly, but it's strong and resistant to breaking down when it gets wet. Try one for the chewing dog in your life. Although these bones are durable, small fibers may come off while being enjoyed, just part of the hemp rope experience. A few dogs enjoy chewing through these bones, the hemp feels so good on their teeth. Made in the USA (Tennessee).

In the summer of 2007 we participated in the Southern Sustainable Energy Expo in Asheville, North Carolina. We had a great time and met an interesting person who told us about her sister's unique dog toy--she had been making them for family and friends who all raved about how much their dogs loved them. Nearly a yard long, Eco-Tug is a 1 1/2 inch wide 1/4 inch thick rope of organic dye-free wool knotted on both ends. Your dog will blissfully tug for hours and hours. Machine washable in cold water, air dry. As with all dog toys, supervised play is recommended.
