Wool Balls
Our organic wool comes from small family farms all over the U.S., but mainly from the Midwest where we live. It has taken us many months of experimentation to develop a wool ball which will be fun and durable. Our wool balls are hand formed from sustainably produced dye-free wool which has only been processed with gentle non-toxic soaps. Wool balls smell of sheep and meadow air, reminding your pets of the great outdoors.
Many dogs find these balls become their favorite toy. Organic wool balls can be quite nice for dogs who have lost teeth or have some other reason to avoid hard surfaced balls. Some low sight dogs like wool balls because of their special outdoorsy smell. Our wool balls no longer have squeakers, dogs love them just as much without. Made in the USA (Indiana).
Frequently asked questions
Our wool balls are totally machine washable. Enclose them in a nylon with a twist tie and throw it in any wash. When the wash is done, take it out of the nylon, roll it between your hands for a few minutes and dry it on high.
How do you choose the right size for your dog?
First, consider the size of your dog's mouth. The diameter of each ball is given to help you choose the right size. The smaller balls may be a swallow hazard for large dogs. Also consider that as the size goes up the amount of wool does too. Depending on the individual dog, more wool may mean a more durable ball.

Super Jumbo
At least 3 1/4 inches in diameter -- this is our biggest ball and contains a lot of wool.
Jumbo
3 inches in diameter.
Large
2 1/2 inches in diameter.
Medium
2 inches in diameter. For smaller dogs.
Small
Just under 2 inches. Perfect for toy sized dogs.
Sale: Wool Ball Seconds
Occasionally we complete a batch of wool balls that do not fully meet our regular standards. They may be a bit out of round and have some lumps. As play toys they are just fine but our very human staff thinks they are not as pretty, and they may not be quite as durable. So, if your dog is not a toy terror, and you do not mind a less than perfect ball - give these a try.

I met you at the Plymouth, MI Green Street Fair last weekend. You gave us a wool ball for our Ibizan Hound after I mentioned that she has destroyed 'indestructible' toys within minutes of getting them. I gave her the woolen ball and she has yet to even put a dent in it! She loves playing with and will bring it to throw for her. If I'm busy, she'll 'throw' it for herself and chase it around.
